DirtRock Dallas is a veteran-owned and family-owned excavation contractor based in Terrell, Texas. DirtRock Dallas provides site preparation, grading, excavation, hauling, demolition, land clearing, pond construction, and concrete across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. DirtRock Dallas works for general contractors who need a reliable subcontractor, developers building out commercial sites, and homeowners and landowners who need a lot cleared, water moved, or concrete poured.
The crews work from your engineered plans. Every job gets held to the DIRTROCK Standard, which means the crew checks its own work before a superintendent, an inspector, or a homeowner ever does. What you get out of that is a site that passes the first time instead of a punch list.
DirtRock Dallas performs site work on residential and commercial builds across DFW. The crew works from your engineered plans, holds your schedule, and keeps your super in the loop without being chased.
DirtRock Dallas handles mass excavation, finish grading, pad and footing prep, trenching, drainage, detention and retention ponds, and parking lot prep. One contractor takes the site from first cut to final pour.
DirtRock Dallas clears lots, digs ponds, fixes drainage, and pours driveways on properties across North Texas. You get a straight answer on what the ground needs and what it will take.
DirtRock Dallas is veteran-owned and family-owned, run by partners Bobby Davis and Greg Gonzalez. Greg has years of construction and trucking experience he leans on to streamline each job. Bobby served in the military, and DirtRock still works to the standard he was trained to in uniform: show up early, work the plan, do it right even when nobody is watching.
DirtRock Dallas is licensed and insured, carrying $1M general liability, $2M aggregate, $1M workers’ compensation, and $1,000,000 auto coverage. That clears GC prequalification and a risk manager’s checklist on the first pass.
DirtRock Dallas owns its fleet of excavators, skid steers, dozers, and hauling trucks, so the crew mobilizes on your schedule.
For three years, since 2023, DirtRock Dallas has moved earth across the metroplex on quarter-acre residential lots, commercial site development, pond construction, demolition, and heavy civil site work. The crew that grades a driveway grades the pad a warehouse gets built on. The standard does not change with the size of the job.
DirtRock Dallas estimates and manages jobs in AGTEK, HeavyBid, and HeavyJob, the same civil software your team uses, so you get takeoffs and quantities you can check line by line.
DirtRock Dallas holds a 4.9-star rating on Google. Those reviews come from the supers and homeowners who watched the crew work, and you can read them before you call.
DirtRock Dallas runs the shop out of a yard in Terrell, Texas, and works the full Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, from Rockwall and Forney out to Fort Worth and McKinney. Crews run Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which is six days a week to walk your site and get you a number.

DirtRock was founded on a simple belief: the foundation of every great project starts with precision earthwork. We shape the earth with care, build communities with purpose, and honor the legacy of the hardworking Americans who forged this nation. Every grade we set, every site we prepare, creates foundations that endure for generations.
As a Texas-based excavation company specializing in precision grading, we’ve built our reputation on doing the job right, not just meeting expectations, but exceeding them. Our crews bring focus, integrity, and craftsmanship to every project, whether it’s mass excavation, finish grading, or site preparation. When you work with DirtRock, you’re partnering with a team that takes pride in the dirt under our boots and the work we leave behind.
DirtRock Dallas started in 2023 getting heavy machinery onto jobsites across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and set up its first headquarters on Interstate 30 in Rockwall, Texas, positioned to serve the growing metroplex.
DirtRock Dallas answered growing demand from homeowners and added residential excavation, grading, and site preparation. The company built its reputation on backyard projects, drainage fixes, and lot preparation.
DirtRock Dallas moved into commercial excavation and site work, partnering with builders and general contractors on larger-scale projects, and added material delivery including gravel, dirt, and stone.
DirtRock Dallas invested in new excavators, skid steers, and hauling trucks to meet demand across residential and commercial jobs, and deepened its relationships with builders, contractors, and homeowners across Dallas and Fort Worth.
DirtRock Dallas moved its headquarters to 10724 CR 2458 in Terrell, Texas in June 2026. The yard, the shop, and the fleet all run out of Terrell today.
Focus
DirtRock Dallas works to the grade on the plan, not close to it. Precision earthwork means the concrete crew behind you pours on a subgrade that is already right, so the schedule holds.
Commitment to the Mission
DirtRock Dallas finishes the job it quoted. Rock nobody expected, a utility that was not on the locate, three days of rain: the crew resequences the work and protects your date. You hear about it the day it happens, not at the end of the month.
Safeguard
DirtRock Dallas plans the whole site before the first machine rolls: utility locates, site access, spoil placement, water control. Then the crew holds that plan for the length of the job. That is what keeps a jobsite from turning into a claim.
The DIRTROCK Standard is the name for all four of those core values together.
Honor
DirtRock Dallas tells you what the ground needs, including when that costs more or takes longer than you hoped. You get a number you can build a budget around.
The crew measures its own work against it before anyone on your side has to, which is why a DirtRock site tends to pass on the first walk.
Whether you need a lot cleared, a pad graded for a new build, a pond dug, or a driveway poured, DirtRock Dallas can put a number on it. Send your plans to estimating@dirtrockdallas.com or call (214) 444-8825. DirtRock Dallas answers Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and treats your property like the crew owns it.
